Approach:

Based on the motor BOM all single materials and manufacturing processes have been identified (incl. country specific production footprints). With support of the Promotex knowledge, the complete and complex value stream throughout the whole supply chain have been modelled (e.g. production of rare earth magnets).

Afterwards all findings have been transferred to the Promotex CO2 Motor Modell and we have identified optimization of 35% of the total product footprint. Thereof 20% have been identified on raw material level and 15% came from alternative production technologies.

A successor project to realize the potentials is already agreed between our customer and us.
